Your Latest Adventure Has "Arrived"

My latest puzzle is a 500-piece titled Arrived, by Bigelow Illustrations. Before I spend time putting a puzzle together, I must have some sort of connection to it. My connection to this puzzle is the beautiful, red motorcycle parked beside high cliffs overlooking a large body of water. I once owned a Honda 450cc motorcycle that I rode hoping to see scenes like the one depicted in the puzzle. I never found one as beautiful and as peaceful as the puzzle scene.
The detail of the motorcycle is simply amazing. At first, I thought it was a photo of a motorcycle photoshopped into the scene. As I looked closer, I could tell that it was a painting of a motorcycle that was a work of art and the person who painted it had to be a great artist. On the Bigelow Illustrations website, I saw that the artist who created this image, Chris Bigelow, has created puzzle illustrations that bring to life many vibrant scenes filled with charm and nostalgia. This correctly describes what I saw in this puzzle. The stunning use of color and intricate details made each piece a delight to assemble. This is the second Chris Bigelow puzzle I have enjoyed. The first was Bob’s Beer & Bait.
While I was on the Bigelow Illustrations website, I found that the artist portrays himself as a reliable, hard-working guy with an appreciation for quality and creating something great with no desire for the spotlight. I also learned that much of his work has been under the art direction of his clients which has forced him to approach things differently and learn new things. On the website he states that he feels a connection to many styles and loves to experiment and learn from others. I also found that he has created images for George Lucas and many others who appreciate fine art. He is a multi-talented artist.
Chris Bigelow titled this puzzle Arrived and I understand why he did that but as I looked at the finished puzzle, I imagined that the physical stance of the motorcycle parked on the side of the road spoke to me saying, “get on and lets go, we have to see what is down the road ahead of us and we don’t want to miss anything”.
The scene in the puzzle made me think about what great adventures I could have if I owned a motorcycle like the one displayed in the puzzle. I would be able to find out what is down the road and get to see places I have never seen like our magnificent National Parks, all sixty-three of them.
